I need to replace a 'mount' that sperates the coil spring from the axle and do not know the name of it? I have a metal to metal noise when going over a bump that is driving me up the wall.

I think that this could be a broken spring rather than any thing missing

The coil springs are new but it seems that it sits on a shim? and thats what has eroded. it looks like a basic rubber mount...he said!
