RDS Radio Functions on Audio 10 CD Player

Can anyone provide assistance with how to control the RDS functions on the factory fitted radio/cd on my '97 E Class Estate. I think the radio model is the MF2910, but I stand to be corrected.

I'm specifically interested in knowing how to turn the traffic announcements on and off. I've read in others posts that you need to press buttons for 10 seconds, but I'm having no success after trying multiple combinations.

Hi,
There should be a mute button on the radio.
You need to press this button for 2 sec to switch the traffic info on and off
