re-upholstering

just swapped my sl500 to an sl55.
i know that (with-holding any disasters) i should be keeping it for a couple of years..
i thought( possibly dreaming) of re-upholstering the 2 seats...can it be done well?
possible cost.. i would love them to look like the new sl65 seats.....black, quilted, silver stiching....nice

Go to a coach trimmer upholsterer, new from MB you are looking at big money

Ask around the local car dealers, many of these guys have cars reupholstered, to spruce up certain models, and they will know who the good guys are..
