Hi All,

I'm going to change my 14 plate E250 discs. Any tips I'm a bit concerned about getting rear disc off due to inner brake shoes. Do you leave parking brake off?
Thanks

Does an E Class with EPC use a disc/drum set up? Just asking because my 14 plate ML uses the disc for the EPC ..... ???? And there's a setting in the dash cluster to replace the rear pads.

parking brake off absolutley, and you need to get a flat headed screwdriver into one of the wheel nut holes on the front of the disc to move the the sproket holding the brake shoes tight, once loosened enough you can slide the brake disc off. Use a torch or mobile phone torch to shine into the wheel nuts holes until you locate the sproket.

to see the sproket, look at this timeline in this video,
