I'm going to do my rear brake pads on my 2000 CLK2.3 Kompressor, but I've been told there are two different types of pads for this car, whats the easiest way to I.D the ones I require? Will the chassis number decide which ones I need? Any help would be appreciated as I've decided to do some DIY maintenance to keep my costs down. On another note, how easy is it to do the front brake pad change on the CLK? Thanks in advance :D

I had this same problem on mine. one is a two pin carrier, the other is a single pin, so that part is easy to see. There is also a difference in the size of the pad, some were I think 68mm long, mine were 74mm
