Hi,
I have a w plate (2000) c class. I have just had an mot which my car passed without fault. I recieved an advisory that my rear brake pipes are starting to corrode. The chap who done the mot said that I should give them a wire brushing and coat them in underseal.
Is this an ok solution? Anyone else done this?
Thanks

not under seal as water can get trapped inside.

Just get a small tin of waxoil from Halfords and brush it on thick all over the pipes, or spray it when the weather is warm enough, though you can warm it up, but if brushing, leave it thick and cold. do not clean them up as the waxoil will hang onto the rust very well, take off loose flaky stuff, and thats all
