Hi

I need to tap into your wisdom. There has been a noise at breaking at very slow speed ( say at barrier and also when reversing). I think it is from the driver's side. Car was at the dealer recently and I was told that the pads were worn by 70 %. Hence, it was changed. This has improved after 600 miles but still there annoyingly. It is going for a B service this week. I have asked them to look at this again.
Any suggestions or past experience?

Thank you.

If it to do with the pads, all I can think of is that the pads are too tight in their caliper and stopping them from retracting from the disc.

Some times one must remove or flat the paint on new pads in order for them to be a good fit.

In fact, noise was there even before changing the pads. It got better only slightly.
