I desperately need some help
I have just purchased a 2004 c class. I believe is a w203?
When i use the key to centrally lock the car, the rear door thingey wint go down and the car wont lock.
When i open the car, sometimes it opens, sometimes it half opens and takes a second button press.
I have opened the lock and checked the spring, it is not broken.
I removed the motor from the unit and when i unlocked the car, it spins, when i unlock it, it dosent do anything. All the mechanics look ok and are smooth in the lock itsself.
Soooo... Can it be the motor the faulty which is only spinning in one direction, or is the rear passenger door controller faulty (picture attached).
By the way thanks for all the advice from various members here...i managed to change the spring in the front drivers door fixing the bouncing motiin.
