Rear exhaust section for 99 c250 td estate

Hi all. Back box just fell off my car. I have seen a rear section on eBay off a 98 plate c250 saloon...anyone know if this will fit? Or any suggestions where to source one! Appreciated.

Can you straight pipe it as removing the back box on a diesel makes little difference.

I am driving it like that just now! It fell off while we are away. It's not very noisy..but mot next month. Would a straight pipe pass?!

I guess and decent exhaust place will be able to source you the correct back box and get it all sorted for you.
Not sure about the quality mind.
I can imagine them being available from MB but probably not cheap.
