Rear Lap belt in CLK cab

Has anybody ever fitted a rear lap belt to a 1999 CLK convertible?

Is it possible to do it?

I've had 3 small people in sat comfortablely in the back but i would like a lap belt fitted.

the fact that the car has only two rear seat belts suggests that MB think it is a four seater. Adding an extra set belt wouldnt help because your insurers will still think that 5 is too many. I think it is very unlikely that belt anchorage points will be available for the lap belt either.

Bottom line - stick to two people in the back.
