Rear LED 3rd Break light: only replaced just over one year ago!

Hi All

A few of the leds have died on this light (looks patchy!), I have looked through the service history (as I have purchased car in the last 9 months and was a lease car) and on the paper work it states that this was replaced august 07, do mercedes guarantee parts , can I have this replaced as this was only replaced just over a year ago? Thanks all

Hi Len,,as I understand it they are guaranteed for 2 years

Thanks Malcolm, I think you answered my questions about this light some time ago but it is bugging me now as another on has gone out! What would you suggest I do? The car service report says it was replaced just over a year ago, doesnt state where/who? The car was purchased miles away from me, can I contact my local MB?

If it was done by a MB dealer, then all MB dealers can access this via your cars VIN number on their computer

Just to let you know - I took car into MB today - yes 2 years cover for this so they have booked it in!

Been to MB today - all replaced under the warrenty as it had been replaced under 2 years ago. Oh, got a free clean and vallet also!
