rear screen

hello to everyone, new on here and wondering if anyone can help.
have got a 2001 c32 estate, a few weeks ago i found my tailgate window shattered when i went to my car first thing in the morning, no signs of vandalism so thought it was prob just down to the icy weather and a stress fracture.
had a new screen fitted the next day and all ok, but was just driving down the road earlier today and it went again with a big bang, scaring the life out of my poor dog!
are there any known faults that would cause this??

the problem often stems from wiper arm that go,s through the glass, if it is not set up correctly then it can cause it to shatter, if the glass is still there follow the fracture lines of the smash and see if it stems from the wiper arm?
