Rear seat for 190E 2.6

Hi

Does anyone know the correct way to remove the rear seat back or recline it forward or back on a 190E 2.6.

I am trying to put a seat cover on the back seat and I will need to get behind the seat or push it forward somehow to complete the job.

The bottom half is held on by two clips, which face forward into the back of the front seats (you'll see them if you look in the footwells). Push them in, and lift out that part. Then, underneath that, there are 3 screws - one in each corner, and one in the centre. You can do it with a normal size 8 spanner, but it's easier if you use a ratchet and socket set. Just undo those, and push the seat up and pull it towards you.
Job done. It's simple really, when you actually have a look at it, you'll realise how easy it is. Two push down clips and 3 screws!
