Rear veiw mirror and coutesy light removal

Any tips please on removing these items on a 190 E 1989

If it's like a W124, the mirror is sprung with a ball-bearing and a big spring which runs left-right inside the base. A good push, or maybe a twist & yank, should pull the whole thing out

The interior light assembly has tabs on the left hand side and sprung clips on the right. I push a flexible wallpaper stripper (no, not an electric one) into the right hand side to release the clips and then ease that side of the unit downwards and out. Don't forget to refit the rubber tube when you refit it

Please let me know if a 190 is different
