I have a 2017 C Class with twin vents at the rear. These don't seem to do anything - they don't blow any air. When I turn the knob, they seem to open and close, but still no air. I'm wondering... are these just decorative? IMG_1406.JPG

Sometimes there can be a remote Air Control Switch/Lever in the Armrest Cubby. I had a Merc that had this so you could cool the Cubby instead.
I just looked. There's nothing there I'm afraid. Thanks though.

Look in your user manual, some cars have a switch to enable/disable the rear vents and some cars have sensors in the back seat cushion to detect if there are any rear passengers, like with the rear seat belts.

Have you tried all blower positions as the GLE had vents under both front seats as well as centre and would only blow say when the setting was on the floor or blowing at you.
