The rear wash wipe switch on my wife's estate works fine for a while (intermittenetly) but then becomes continuous and you cant switch it off until you turn the engine off for a while. Is this probably a sticking relay or something else?

Does anyone know where it is?

There is a relay fitted next to the motor itself. You could have a leaking washer pipe at the motor causing relay problems.

thank God for that! So it could be a sticky relay then as it is OK for short bursts...
