A 207 540 03 17 im thinking my gremlins lie in the rear right , after my fiasco at the weekend with a failed main battery, the car ran fine for 3 days until today it threw another wobbler , i kept driving and 3 miles later the car sorted itself out .

scanner showed fault in rear right sensor ,along with abs, esp, fail safe, cruise control, blah blah blah . is it best to get genuine sensor or would trw , bosch do the job? thanks .

I would start with clearing the codes and charging the battery fully. Clean the sensor and then go from there. As said, if it does need replacing, get a genuine one.

if it's easy to replace you can try a pattern part. If it's a barsteward to replace then use genuine OE :geek:

I've come to realise when the fault occurs that its every wheel not just 1. Getting to grips with the icarsoft mb2 in itself is another matter . :)

It could well be your ABS module then rather than a sensor. Does it show any fault codes?

Run the iCarsoft while you're driving, and check the wheel sensors that way.
You will get live data on all four together and will easily see if one misbehaves.
If they all show a consistent and similar reading - time to look elsewhere.

Did that and when it crashed all 4 read about the same values .

U0129

Plus about 50 more .

Generic code for loss of communication to the control module. Could have been caused by the battery, delete them and keep an eye on it. Sorry, not much help I know

ive tried all that , the fault manifests at any given time. its not happened today , I'm blaming water ingress from pressure washing the wheels.
