Hello again! As a newbie to the 560SEC with all that loads of extra accessories, I´ve also got an electric sun "curtain" or what it´s called in the rear window. This wasn´t working, so I took it out and noticed that the motor works, and the plastic wire with cogs on is coming out and so on, but my question is - should it be some kind of telescopic tube around the plastic wire or how is that mechanism working? If somebody has any pics of this it would be great. I mean, this plastic wire is very soft, and it now bends and splutters grease over my curtain, this is for sure not how it should be. I guess it have to be some kind of stiffer tube around it. If someone has a similar curtain or knows how it works, please reply on this one. I have tried search on the forum, but no one has asked this before (maybe it´s an rare option)? Thanks a lot!!
