17s on the 211 are the perfect compromise,
It may be the best "compromise" between those 4 , but for me ride comfort trumps the lot and the deeper the tyre wall the softer the ride in my experience . If my lower back wasn't an issue and I wasn't north of 50 I'd agree with the best compromiseIt is, fact and data demonstrated, the best compromise between fuel efficiency, ride and handling performance and ride comfort.
I moved the 211 from 17s to 18s and we immediately noticed a far nicer more pleasant ride. Doesn’t like the potholes quite as much though.
