Recommended independent Garage??

Reading many of the posts relating to service and repair by indipendent garages creates the question "who are they"?
Is there not a list on the forum of garages that are recommended by the forum user's?
I have searched but to no avail..
Having been self employed myself for 30 odd years i know that recommendation is the best type of advertising.
If some of the members recommended one that they have used and trust, i for one would go there..
Its easy to look up th MB main dealer in the directory but how do we find out about the indy?
Should the forum not see it as a duty to support the best of the rest?
And should they not look upon it as a privilage to be listed..
If i speak out of turn as a new comer i apologise but where do I look?????

We do not have an indie list through various reasons.

You can do a search," indie north east" for instance and post will come up, just search your area or someone will see your post and answer

Looks like you're from Lichfield. Were 25 minutes from Milton Keynes if thats any good to you. Dont know how much further you are past there..

Hi, Lichfield isn't too far away from Birmingham really and in that case I would recommend WDM Cars 0121 331 1066. Been there several times and they're top notch and nice people.

Thats 104 miles each way a bit too far but thanks very much for the recommendation..
Birmingham and Perry barr sound like a possiblity... I appreciate these because as i said before "recommendation is the best advert".
If there isnt one any closer to WS15 4DY i shall try one of these..
