Recommended independent MB garage near Stirling?

Morning chaps

First post on the forum , so here goes...

I'm looking for recommendations for an independent MB garage, ideally near Stirling but Edinburgh or Glasgow would do also. I just don't want to get ripped off again by a dealership at £60 per hour.

I need a repair to my '98 CLK230 automatic gearbox, which has lost kickdown.

Must be someone out there who uses a good independant garage in the central belt...?

You have 3 that I know of
Mainly Mercs in Busby,
Hart Motors in Clydebank
and there is one in the eastend, can't remember the name but I know there are in Camelon st,
I personally use Mainly Mercs and find them excellent

Maybe your dealer prices ain't so bad. MB in Giffnock (Glasgow) charge over £91 per hour!
