Just got my 1997 C180 Elegance and getting used to it. I have noticed the red led on the interior mirror casing doesnt flash when locking the car with the alarm fob. Green led works as it should.
I am assuming the red led is faulty, is there any way to check / change it?

Ah, just found something else. I have a black "dongle" thing on my keyring and a red one on the spare keyring. It has brass contacts on one end so assume it fits in a socket somewhere, but where, and what does it do. I cant see a socket anywhere on the dash. Its a 97 C180 auto.
