Red electrical connection in footwell...?

I dont have a piccy but today when I had the carpets and plastic underpinnings removed from the passenger side footwell I spotted a red electrical connection about 1 inch square with a wire disapearing off to the left hand side...any idea what it is?

Its the connection for the SRS system (air bag).
