The 180 CDI engine is so so underpowered from factory so here at GAD we had to change this we have since developed for the A180 CDI making a massive 67 BHP and 120 NM of torque improvement... Whilst retaining every day drivability and economy of the factory remapping...

I would agree. Many of the figures these guys are claiming are very impressive

on your site, it states that the A180 is 109 BHP as standard, yet you have managed to increase it to 180bhp from just a remap?

if that is the case, what could be done to a standard (except egr deleted and swirl flaps removed) C220 CDi with a manual gearbox? the 143 bhp version? your site claims 22bhp, taking it up to 165. that seems a bit lame compared to 109BHP taken up to 180BHP

Yes some of the gains on our site we are chopping through them as some of them are not accurate. Also on the site we mainly show the gains that our "average" customers would like. Of course being bespoke we can almost achieve what ever the customers orders (with reason :wink. Your vehicle is running EDC15 C6 management and I think off the top of my head we can extract 38-42 BHP extra with no issues to the gearbox or clutch.

Many mapping companies run into clutch and gearbox issues because they will throw all the torque in low down all at once! Of course you will run into issues. Its all about smooth sustained power delivery. Not only that but with smooth sustained power delivery that's when you can start making diesels rev like petrols .
