remote light on

Hi All,

250 deisel turbo 2007
the red light on the rear view mirror which indicates remote locking comes on intermittantly while driving. it will come on and stay on or flash every ten seconds or so. somejourneys it won't come on at all.

I read that if the remote batteries are low the red and green will flash.
could this be low battery indication also?

any advice very welcome.
