Hi
I’m new to this site and am wondering if anyone has any suggestions for me, regarding the remote fob.
I allowed the battery to fully discharge over the winter and recently jump started the car and have it fully charged up.
The dashboard locking switch works fine but the remote will no longer open or lock the doors or boot. The remote is showing that it’s fully charged.
Any ideas for where I go from here. Could it be a burnt fuse perchance ?
Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

Do you have a second remote to try?
For the cost involved I'd replace the batteries in the remote. CR2025 are the ones you need.
How did you discover the remote is fully charged?

It may have a charge but is it sending a signal to the car..???
To test the signal, do the camera check.
Point the remote key at a digital camera, press the button on the remote and you should see a light,

I changed the batteries and it worked for a few lock and unlocks and now it has stopped working again. Back to using the physical key.

Sooo, some thing in the remote is draining the batteries.
