Hi Everyone
can anyone tell me how to remove the boot lock ( the whole part where the key fits) from my w203 c220 cdi. I can see it but cannot find where the screws that secure it in place are. The lock is making a thump thump sound when I open it. Any ideas?
Thanks
WAB

The screws/bolts may be hidden behind plastic fasteners similar to this, not your lock but will may be of some help, ideas wise.

Thanks TV and Dec for the replies. I've just had a look at the number plate insert and it looks like its held on by fasteners around the edge of it when seen from inside, is this right or is it secured by just the one bolt under the number plate.

As your car has electric locking I will print off the instructions for you, and I will post back in a few mins

I have sent you the paper,,,do not touch they Eye if you do not have to, and just use the part that you want.

Sorry to other members that I just send these things out, but to write them all out would take far too long
