Removing indicator bulb housing

I can't believe I'm having problems changing an indicator bulb!!

I have a C200K 01 Model, and I'm trying to change the front nearside indicator bulb. I can turn the bulb housing anti-clockwise, but it won't extract once turned. Offside indicator removes fine and upon turning seems to click into position to enable removal - The nearside one doesn't even do this, it just turns about 45 degrees and then refuses to be pulled out, even with large force applied!!

Any suggestions?

Remove the complete unit and try it then,this way you will be able to see what is going on...
