Did not work on the car for a long while and after taking the car for an oil change, the shop suggest me to :

replace the 2 air intake pipe in the charge air intercooler, I looked at both and they seems fine and with no leak or cracked ( well just a quick look ), and i have no problems to kick into the Kompressor with 2,000 r.m.p.

The car is a 1997 C230 Kompreesor - Is that just a maintenance suggestion ???? My car is now over 153K without changing the hose ! But again, the Kompressor is running just fine !And if I replaced it, will it give more power to the Kompressor ??

Thanks for any input or advise !!
Bernard

I believe that the recommendation is to keep the oil from running into the intake and fouling of the MAF, thats if it is the pipes that I am thinking of

Thanks Malcolm !

That may be the reason why they suggested me for the replacement. I changed the MAF a few months ago and I shall wait for more advises and decided whether to replace it or not !
