Replacement bulb

The bulb behind the air flow direction dial on my W208 CLK200K has gone what is the easiest way to replace this?

The bulb for the fan dial still works ok.

The knob pulls or prys off then you will see a tiny peanut illumination bulb behind a white plastic tap. I very small pair of electrical long nose pillers will be reqiured to pull out the bulb.

You can also use a small length of vacuum pipe to pull it off and push it on.

Good point, heat shrink tube is another thing.
