Replacement cupholder.

W211216 can i easily replace the front cubby hole, (in front or arm rest) with a cupholder)?

most people seem to remove the cup holder for fear of liquids dripping down onto the autobox wires

And I would never use mine either, it sits right over the top of the gear selector ECU

I bought mine from Ebay - then discovered they were as cheap at the dealers. Around £50 from memory.
Yes they are near the autobox and the warning is well made, but they are there to avoid spills. Don't use mine often but handy at the McD's drive through.
