Replacement engine

Hi,

So, my 2010 C250 CGI broke its drive chain basically making repair uneconomic. The vehicle is fitted with a 1.8L M271.860 engine.

I have been looking on places like eBay for replacements but putting in the full spec returns nothing. Does anybody know which engines could be put in this model? There was presumably a replacement for the M270s? Somebody suggested M274 but that is surely longitudinally mounted?

(As you will tell from this, I'm basically clueless, so all help very appreciated.)

You would need to fit a 271.860.

I always buy second major units from Prestige All Parts in Oldham. Never had a problem with anything from them. They'll supply with a new chain fitted too.
