Just a heads up for anyone who needs an extra or replacement key for their Mercedes (and most other makes) this place could help.

I got a new key cut and new fob programmed for the wife's Kia Rio today. £140. Very helpful guy who said he can supply most models of Mercedes up to 2016
His shop is a bit difficult to find but well worth the trip if you don't mind an aftermarket case (he doesn't keep Mercedes fobs) and well below the extortionate price the main dealers now charge for a key. He also has a mobile service but I don't know how far he'll travel.
Worth a mention anyway if it helps someone in the south of the country.
