Hi all.

The leather steering wheel in my 96 E220 Coupe is getting very worn and tatty, so I decided a new one was in order.

After searching for a while I found one on Ebay with out the airbag or the airbag/horn bracket. Seller confirmed it would fit my car, so I bought it.

Of course it's never that easy :)

My original wheel is the 400mm dia version with the Airbag/Horn bracket that is screwed into the wheel. (Wheel has holes for the screws etc)

Now the new wheel seems to be an updated version of this. It's 390mm dia and in place of my screw holes it has bolts. (Like as if the bracket is bolted on, if you get me!)

Also the airbag /horn bracket looks to be to deep to fit the new wheel.

Does anyone know what the part number is of the new bracket that would fit this wheel?

Cheers
S.

Thanks Sankey.

That's not a MB part number is it?
