Morning all, I am a new owner of a GSL350D AMG Line 2017, it currently has ContiSportContact 295/40 ZR21 Y's fitted. they are at about 3mm. So I will be needing to change them soon.
My Question is do I stick the same on again or do you guys have any recommendations.
My Previous Car was an LR Discovery 4, I always fitted Pirelli Scorpion Zero's and was very pleased with the performance and wear.
Thanks in advance

I must admit that for the U.K. I tend towards wet weather tyres. My very strong preference is for Uniroyal Rainsport; I’ve had them on my 211, my 215, they’re on the 251 and my father has them on his Land Cruiser. Superb tyres in grip & handling, not so long-lifed as others (but that’s a trade off I’m willing to make) and pretty reasonably priced when bought from Camskill.

I'd also recommend Goodyear EfficientGrip - excellent wet weather performance and I've found them cheaper than the uniroyals

Put your tyre size into black circles for example and look at the charachtertics that come up for your size for some direction.

A certain tyre size (type) on one car may not be the best on another. My w220 hated PZero (hard and noisy, slippery when wet) yet happyy on Dunlop sports Max.

My w251 had contis. they are good, But its even better on PZeros.

I never buy cheap and make a trade off with noise/wet handling being prio.

MO and MO* are merc specific insofar merc would have some input on the formulation.

You will see when you look them up.
