Last week I parked my w124 coupe outside a bar. When I returned someone had taken it upon themselves to remove the Mercedes star from the bonnet. I'm mildly annoyed about it, but I half expected it to happen sooner or later.

What's my best option for getting a new one? I looked on ebay and I can get one from the states for about £20. Where can I get one from in the UK - how much will it cost?

I'm in Bristol and I wouldn't mind getting one from scrap if it's of decent quality. Anyone know of a breakers who'll have this sort of thing?

Thanks.

Best place is the dealership, they are quite reasonably priced.

The ones from Euro Car Parts are much cheaper than MB and very good, around , £8.50 I paid for my last one.

Both options sound fine to me. Dealers are actually cheaper than ebay!
They often fit it for free too (2 min job) so basically don't bother with the scrappers and get yourself a new one.
