Replacing Child Recognition Sensor

Hi does anyone have any idea whats involved with replacing the child recognition sensor on an e280 2000 on the year would be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction a local garage have said its a complete seat strip down

It is seat out & strip lower half, cover off etc. Having said that, it's not too difficult if you're confident & patient.
