Hi,

I've got a 2002 C-Class Sport Coupe. My wife seems to be having a bit of trouble with the garage  and as a result, the passenger side wing mirror indicator lens has been smashed!

Anyhoo, ordered a replacement lens unit from my local dealer, expecting probably a new bit of plastic, pop out the old one, clip in the new one - errr, no. Looks like I've got to get the whole mirror off.

So, anyone know how these things come off and go back on again?

Ta.

Bit fiddly, the cover slides off first (over the glass, you have to fold the thing towards the window and release the small silver holding clip inside . Grab a torch and have a good look first.
The indicator unplugs as the cover comes out, lense is held on the inside by screws. Typical Benz nowdays, goes back together dead easily.
