I will send you yhe door card removal details.

With the door, you need to take off the card, disconnect all wires and push them back into the A pillar kick panel for front, and B pillar for the rear. unscrew the door stay.

Next open the door and find a box the same height as the bottom of the door and push it under the door. remove the hinge bolts and its off.

When refitting the new door, you adjust the closing catch so that the rear edge of the front door is 1mm proud of the rear door, and the rear door 1mm proud of the rear wing

Thanks for that mate.
Is it relatively easy to get the replacement door to sit right? I replaced a door on my Mini (proper, not BMW) a few years ago and remember it being a nightmare!

You cannot compare those days to the modern doors, things have changed a lot.

When you set doors up for the closing, the trailing edge of the door should be 1mm proud of the rear door and that should be 1mm proud of the rear wing.

Do not remove the lock keep, you adjust that last.

Always easiest if you have a strong box that just fits under the door and pack it with some wood, fit the top hing bolts first

Thanks again! Found a pair of perfect condition doors that are off the exact same model so will get them ordered. When I eventually get round to fitting them i'l get some photos done and try to do a step-by-step how to if anyone is interested.

Yes alway great to have the pictures, you will have to remove the side kick panels in the front and the B pillar cover so that you can pull the wires out unless you just leave them hanging and feed them into the door just before you fit the doors
