All too good to be true.... There's mention of auction in the about us section. Cars are shipped by the looks of things, no mention of viewing but buy online.....

That website has scam written all over it im afraid. The company address is a dodgy looking residential area.

I suspect some poor soul has hit the buy it now paid them and now the scumbags have turned off there anonymous proxy server which was hosting that website..

Here's a quote from a potential customer - found by a bit of Googling:

"This is a scam, plain and simple.
I asked for details on a RAV4 hybrid advertised on their site.
Reply was at first polite giving basic details that service history, HPI check were available and it had 2 keys.
I asked for a photo of the service book history, a basic request to avoid a wasted trip and 2hr drive.
Response was a very rude refusal.
Checking the vehicle registration plate against dvla and a hpi check on line said no such number!
Do not press "buy now on their website", I did this out of curiosity and it states payment is taken over the phone or BACs, basically giving them your bank details.
The usual scam, "The vehicle isn't on site but if you leave deposit now we can arrange to bring it to you"
Checking the address on Google maps shows it as a crappy house in Bradford.
The photo of the "owner" shows a middle aged man when his date of birth would make him in his twenties."

The moral of the story with any unknown company on the internet is to NEVER pay via their website.

Do some simple investigation and anything that seems too good to be true is invariably a scam.

I found the site from adverts on Faceache which I have been using to keep up to date with village events. Those social meedja (!) sites are a haven for scammers...

I spend quite a bit of time pressing report on my local buy and sell groups. The spam is rife.

It's good for local groups - local village info and gossip. They can have my data - it doesn't correspond with me in any way. I use a separate user account for faceache, incognito mode through a vpn, none of the user personal data is mine. Browser session is closed and reopened before swapping to other social meedja sites. My twitter account actually belongs to my parrot - he has his own email addresses as well... 20 years of proper IT taught me a few things.....

It is true that data is power and money.

My friend does data matching to identify people who use VPN's which includes me..

Clever algorithms supported by lots of AI are apparently whirring away busily trying to identifying us.

Apparently we leave lots of clues.
