Reset Tool for Mecerdes 38 Pin Diagnostic Connector

Has anyone used this device on c class w202 models from 1990 to 1996
if so where is the 38 pin diagnostic connector on c200 1995??? and would this work? before i buy... many thanks

Look on the nearside of the engine bay, near the back is a flexible plastic cover, should be under there.

Isn't there a key/button sequence to reset the service indicator?

Yes - page 1A.3 of the Haynes manual:

Key to position 2, immediately press to 0 (trip reset) button twice within one second
Key back to position 1
Press and hold the 0 button, turn key to 2, display shows remaining distance/time, hold the button for more than 10 seconds and a beep will sound, new distance/time will appear for 10 seconds.
Release button 0.

Diagnostic Tool for W202 & W210

I like to buy online a diagnostic tool for both of those 2 cars. Can any 1 recommend where to buy online? They are W202 (1994) & W210 (2001).
