Restraint System visit workshop SRS

Hiya Guys, got a message saying RESTRAINT SYSTEM visit workshop SRS on my C180 2002 Auto this morning, any suggestions would be most welcome.
Does this mean a few hundred pounds at the Merc garage again?:cry:

Read on forum that this could be a fault with the N/S seat sensor, do a search and i'm sure you will find the correct answer as seems to be a common fault. I had the SRS light come on after a battery change seems the power surge tripped the sensor. Had it reset by indi using Star for £35.

As Nick above, normally passenger seat connector, but can onl be checked on STAR, Find an Indy

The most common on the 203 is the harness going to the steering control module, needs cutting out and modified wiring harness soildering in!!

Thanks for that Guys, the problem I have is that I noticed that the cigarette lighter wasn't working, so my first port of call was to check ALL the fuses on the box at the driverside. After I checked ALL of them ( take them out and put them back in ) is when this problem occured. Good news tho, the cigarette lighter now works !

This could have happened if you turned on the ignition with SRS fuse out, if this is the case it just needs clearing on STAR, and indie can do it
