Retro fit auto climate to C class (w203)

I have seen some discussion before about upgrading from the basic climate unit (with dials) to the digital one. Now I have found a digital climate unit on ebay but was wondering if I can just buy it and unplug my unit with dials and plug it straight in, or is there more to it?

Its still running on ebay, but without knowing if I need other parts I don't really want to buy it just in case. The item number is 4584579563.

Anyone else bought one of these from ebay or anywhere except a stealership? How much do they usually go for?

Hi - I saw that one on ebay too. I don't think it would fit my car as I have the later 2005 model, which has a slightly different shaped controller.
