retrofit digital climate display w208 clk

hi all,

my car has the manual twisty dials for the aircon, have seen on another site that its possible to swap this for the nicer digital version.

anyone know if thats an option on the clk??

I believe that there is a retro for this and many have done it,,someone better than me should come on and advise,,I think it is a plug and play and possible STAR turn on, your electrics are basically C class

Sorry to say that this is more complicated than first thought,,many did it on the earlier C class and your car was based on this. I do not think that it will be cost effective

I upgraded mine on a W209 CLK. It was plug and play. Big issue is removing the old unit which can be quite tricky. Fortunately my CLK only required a few screws - not the locating hidden retainers in air vents. Cost of the replacement unit was €220 from BenzNL. In hindsight not worth the expenditure but I enjoyed the project.
