How difficult is it? I have the "sports" seats with squab adjustment. Would this involve seat replacement, or could it be done to the current seats?

Your Mercedes
2002 SL500, 216 CL500, all fully loaded
Too hard to do,you need the seat, the switch bank and the memory module and you may have to do the passenger seat as well as these things come in pairs so as not to confuse the CAN BUS.

Hard is tough... would be doing both if I do end up.

Guess I need to forget it.

what do you want to do put in heated seats, this is achievable, as far as I know, all you need is the seats the wiring loom and the new dash switches, you will need a replacement for all the switches as it comes as one unit

Hi King - where can I get hold of the seats?

Plus I will have mine to trade in so maybe a few quid off.
