Hi, picking up my new car tonight, (2017 Mercedes C220d SE) and got to say, cannot wait.
Had a C320cdi Avantgarde approx 10 years ago, but had to let it go at 120,000+ miles.
Have had mixture of cars since, Mini Coupe, Chrysler 300C, and most recently Vauxhall insignia, so glad to get back into something a bit above the norm.
Do a lot of miles, around 18,000 a year, so fuel economy comes into play. I really also have to thank a local salesman, who tried selling me a BMW 335d, for eventually getting me to look at the Merc.
BMW salesman was lazy, kept me & my wife waiting outside, whilst it was snowing, and was never really "pushy" to get the deal over the line, so went with head over heart, looked for a Merc C class, found a car 2 years younger, £3K cheaper, and that was it. Bringing it home tonight.
Very much looking forward to it.
