I am just about to return to being a mercedes owner/user after a bad experience with Volvo for a year!

Previously Drove and enjoyed a 2002 C220cdi Avantgarde estate but now purchasing a 2005/55 C320cdi avantgarde SE Estate.

Took car out for a test drive and instantly remembered what i was missing and then some!!!

Whilst i enjoyed c220cdi it seems that the c320cdi will be even more fun.

This one has 7g auto and new v6 engine.

Is there anything i should be checking or be aware of on this newish model?

Any comments gratefully received.

Why buy an AMG when you can buy the C320CDi, hope your insurer sees it that way. The old IL6 320CDi engine was too big a lump to fit into the old C class (I think they managed to prise the 270 into it) so you are benefitting immensly with the V6.

Enjoy the car and as already stated watch out for cameras.

Thanks for comments.

Speed cameras were never an issue in Volvo (i had a truck like one!!) but suppose need to be more vigilant now.

Insurance only about £40pa more expensive than volvo, i suppose there are some benefits being over 40!
