Hi guys. Hope everyone is good.
Recently my GLC250d reverse camera started opening up when I slow down or stop at junctions. It has 360 cameras. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you sure it's opening up when you stop and not closing? I had a similiar problem where the camera opened up when I put the car into drive and stayed open until I came to a stop where it closed up until I pulled away again. No image from the camera was ever present on the screen though.

Yes it closes after I get past about 10 mph after I reverse from my drive. Can drive for miles but when I slow down to stop at a junction it opens. I even sent the missus out to see if it had opened at a quiet junction.

Opposite of mine then, there is a function where it opens and you have to drive under 30km/h for a certain distance and it recalibrates iself. That's what mine has done a couple of times. Yours is doing the opposite, only thing I could think of is it needs the software reinstalled?

Ok I stopped on a quite level straight street. Got missus out to check camera flap was open. Put hazards on and let car coast along street without touching the accelerator for about 250 meters and I heard flap closing. So far so good seems to have reset itself.

I only asked her to check when I thought it was open. If I’d put car into park position the flap might have closed. Honest lol
