reverse lightsout

ive got a 98 e300td and the reversing lights no longer work,they used to flicker on and off when moving selector from park to neutral but gone off completely now. any help on this would be great,thanks.

The swich is on the center consul, it all has to be removed to get to it.

There have been two threads in the last couple of months on this. If you do a search you will find it.

I understand that there is no adjustment on this switch, if it was me I would stick or add something to the cantact arm, so that contact is made. off the top of my head I think it is the righthand switch when veiwed from drivers seat.

stripped consul,it looks like the switch that's on right hand side of lever is what im looking for, will let you know if i get result.

i have tried everything, fuses ok, held contact arm down, tried a seperate earthwire direct to light cluster and they still wont work.
