Revs high

A250e 2020
Hi, just bought an a250e and have noticed when the battery is low and it changes to petrol the engine revs high and is jerky.Anyone else have this issue?

Hello and welcome,

I'm guessing the alternator is demanding more to charge the battery so the engine revs are raised to compensate - I expect Mercedes have a "software update" for it... it appears to be the "Fix" for so many new car issues these days...
